View Full Version : opinions wanted - UC9 Uzi stock pinning options

Hey folks, we're getting ready to have a CA-legal configuration for the Century UC9 Uzi rifles.

What I'm looking for is some input on the preferred method for fixing the stock in the open position that YOU would want to see if you were buying one.

Option A - Small tack welds at the hinge points where the stock folds.

Option B - Set screws threaded into the body of the stock which prevent folding.

The way I'm looking at is with the tack welds, some people might not like it due to cosmetic issues (which I fully understand). Using set screws would be a bit more unobtrusive and still lock the stock in the open position.

So. As the consumer, which do YOU prefer?

Well I just bought a new Vector UZI and it had the stock welded. That stock was ugly and I replaced it with the wooden fixed stock. The wooden stocks are cheap ($20-35)and look way more authentic. Just ordered a fake can from Title II to dress it up a bit. Also got a second top cover on which I am going to mount a Burris Fast Fire.

I'd rather have the stock welded as I'll be replacing the stock anyway.
I'm excited about you guys getting this going!
