Thanks diesel, but I should have clarified. It is for the YHM freefloats. They have a special tool. Why couldn't they just make it standard?

Any armorer tool will work. It's a great tool to have. You should buy one.

Actually, no, its different. I have a wrench for the standard barrel nuts, but the YHM FF nuts are different.

hmmm weird. I installed a YHM forearm on my upper couple of years ago and I just used a plain jane armorer tool and it worked fine..

Yes, you need that special anchor wrench for locking the external lock nut. Too bad you're in Socal. I have one that I only used once.
