I orderd an RRA A4 Standard Upper with standard front sight.
I would like to use a Scope, mounted with Medium or high rings and a
YHM 1/2" Riser.
Will the front sight show in the scope ? Pics if you got'em
Scope is a Nikon Buckmaster 4.5-14X40

This is the Upper

No, I have the same scope and the sight is nowhere to be seen when looking through the scope.

You might see it if you have a low power scope. 4 power and up, you won't see it.

I hope this helps. As long as you're using your given eye relief, you shouldn't be able to see the front sight post at 4.5X. The pictures below are taken at 3.5X.

But technically at 3.5X or even 4.5X, you will still see the front sight post when you're not using the given eye relief.

Droppin Deuces:
What scope mount is that and how do you like it with the 3-9X,
tall enough ? to tall ?

That's the Burris AR P.E.P.R. It's perfect for that particular scope(Leupold Mark AR), which has a pretty generous eye relief. I like it a lot. The only thing I can compare it to, other than standard 1" high rings, is the LaRue SPR 1.5, which is wonderful, but a little out of my price range. I don't think you can do better than this in the $100-or-less range.

Here is a YHM riser mounted with Burris High Tactical rings with a standard A2 front sight/gas block ( The mediums were too low and the X-Highs were too high.)

I only wanted to use the YHM to position the rings forward, that extra 1/2" of height from the YHM was just something that allowed me to use the High rings and still have enough height to clear the rear sight and keep the front sight out of the scope.

Here are a couple of pics...

Thanks Guys :)
I got mine setup
YHM 1/2" Riser and Medium Burris Signature Zee rings.
At my Scopes lowest setting of 4.5, I see no front sight at all
Seems bazarre to me that even though the front sight is 3/4 the height of the Scope, it is out of view
I am however going to get some high rings anyway just to make the rifle more comfortable to shoot "better cheek weld"

I found with my ACOG on my Issued M4 I could see a ghostly image of the front site but it was in the lower portion of my sight picture and I soon stopped noticing it altogether.
