View Full Version : Bayonet lug bipod mount....Harris Bipod or other

Okay, so for my range shoots, I would like the flexibility of snapping on a Harris bipod or other quick detach bipod onto my bayonet lug. My carbine-length lower rail is pretty much taken up with a vertical grip. Any ideas for a quality product that is reasonably priced? I'm no fan of NCStar and their bipod looks like cheap junk.

Let me google that for you (http://lmgtfy.com/?q=bayonet+lug+bipod+adapter)
2nd link listed. CAA m4 bayonet lug mount.
I know this isn't what you were asking, but I'll just throw it out there. Get a grip pod. Verticle foregrip with integrated bipod. Both in one with this setup.

Using the lug to mount the bipod puts stress directly on the barrel. Not good.
Put it in the bottom of the handguard, preferably a free-floating one.

Thanks for the quick replies. I think I might avoid adding the stress on the barrel and just slide on a bipod whenever I go to the range. I have just a little space on my current handguard rail, but just barely. Thanks for the help guys!
