hey im looking into getting my first AR and was wondering which would be a better choice. i live in California and believe that these two are CA legal. anyone with knowledge of the DDM4 or RRA LAR-15, please feel free to give me your opinions on each. thanks.

what is a good site to order from with good prices? btw are 14.5" barrels illegal in California?

No. But you must have pinned Flash Hider or muzzle break to meet minimum 16 inch length for NFA law. Rifle must be 30 inches minimum in California when stock is retracted.

Get your lower in CA either a CA compliant complete lower, or stripped then build yourself.

If you want an unbiased opinion, I think you should buy your DD rifle from RifleGear.com ;)
