John,
The 29 Palms Regional is still on. Neither Ken nor I want to see this half century old Marine shooting tradition die. We've had to scramble in order to 'get-er-done'.
I've attached this year's program and I'll look forward to your helping us again as well as your participation.
Jack

Please folks, pass the word, 29 Palms is on! If you've never been, it's one of the great Matches you've never been to.

I'm hoping the program includes some long range...

John, Can you point us to a website where the Match Bulletin is?

Another way to get the program is to go to this link: http://www.brrc.org/
and scroll down the left side past Gunny Ermey's picture. And yes, he's going to be shooting there again this year as well some of the guys back from the Near East.

Sounds like a great time. One of the few times I wished I was actually in 29.

Ain't that the truth. I only spent a year there for Comm School, but hated every minute of it. This would have definitely made that year worth while... Anyone planning on passing this word on to the Marines stationed there, other than the ones who log onto CalGuns?

If you have a way it would be greatly appreciated.

The folks putting it on are scrambling and probably don't have the bandwidth to handle it right now.

I just found out that I still have a couple buddies still stationed there, so I will forward this thread to them ASAP, and ask them to pass the word out... Can't guarantee it, as they are in BFE and nowhere near the main base, but better than not trying right?

You're a man after my own heart, that's right, at least it's out there. Better than not.

Thanks for the assist brother.

Looks like I will be home in time. You guys don't mind spectators right?
