Purchased from Sacramento Black rifle for $599.99 complete and included a blocked 10/28 Rd mag and carry handle. 16" barrel; chrome lined.

This thing was able to chew up and spit out any ammo. I purposely bought horrible/cheap ammo for it. It Functioned flawlessly today with an assortment of ammo. The ammo is everywhere and super cheap. The recoil is slightly more than a standard 5.56mm round obviously. Rocked me back on my heels due to improper stance once. We started at 50 yards and moved out to a hundred where it continued to drill our 1' x 1' steel plates. No malfunctions and no problems of any kind. The factory set front sight and carry handled were apparently pre zeroed too because I had to make no adjustments. 500rds total were fired. I don't regret the purchase at all. Glad I have an AK now out of an AR platform. I pondered the 5.45 upper but I'm glad I don't need to get one now; no need to build an AK now either.

Thank you. I rode the short bus.

So did you get a heavier buffer to help with the heavier recoil?

Nope. Standard buffer. I guess I could huh? I'm sure the flip flops didn't help but it damn near knocked me over.

sweet...i've been wondering about 7.62x39 uppers for when i build my AR..........where were you shooting at? I'm in Roseville and in desperate need of a place to shoot!!!

I shoot on private property about 3 minutes outside of Lincoln. I hate ranges unless I'm zeroing. They don't like it when you bring beer.

+1

I've been thinking about a 7.62 x 39 upper, or a 5.45 x 39. might have to try one out.

One of my rules...:cheers2:Guns and Beers dont mix...and Motorcycles and beer dont mix either:scooter:.
Other than those too, beer goes with everything else

I have an Olympic Arms upper on my AR in 7.62x39. I absolutely love it! I enjoy shooting it more than my .223 AR.

nothing wrong with a beer while shooting.........self control is of the utmost importance though. Getting drunk and shooting...definitely bad. Having a CL or two throughout the range time, not such a big deal as long as the only shotgunning you're doing involves an actual shotgun. Besides, cheap beer explodes nicely!!!

:cheers2:

anyone else with 7.62x39 uppers have any mag related issues? that's the one bad thing i've been hearing alot about with x39 uppers.

Which is why I shoot at home :D

DUI=SUI lol sounds like something the anti's would bring up next.

I would definitely like to get a 7.62x39 upper. Most likely in a pistol build (since we can't have SBR).

Thinking about the Diablo or the XCR micro.

My 7.62x39 upper is sweet....Shoot it for the first time last week. Fed all the wolf ammo and surplus with no problems!!! Had a couple FTF with the wolf though, even with a 15% power spring....Ever had that with the AK.....So I'm doing the firing pin mod.....Should do the trick...

I never said we drank the beer. We bring it and shoot at it. Zero mag issues at all with the bushmaster upper. I was very impressed with the upper; I couldn't make it malfunction.
