Im looking for one aswell i wonder if J&G will sell you one.

The importer has informed us that they are C&R eligible.

They state that on there web page but i haven't found any ATF bulletin adding them.

Im going to do some digging around and see what I can find out before I head out. They also have the CZ-82's, I'm on the fence between these two guns. The m57 has the benefit of MUCH cheaper ammo. My shopping list at J&G keeps getting more expensive, good thing my wifes into this stuff too or I'd be screwed.

Double bonus if you consider Tokarev pistols can simply swap the barrel and become 9mm once the surplus dries up.

The M57 was manufactured in 1957, so is considered a C&R by age & therefore shippable into CA.

Stock mags for the m57 are a pita to find and quite expensive. You could modify Cz-52 mags though but it is up to you.

You can have these shipped to CA but it has to go through an 01 ffl it cant go straight to your house. Im thinking of selling my polish tt33 with most of a spam can worth of ammo here soon need to pay for car registration :(

Why a 9mm??

The 7/62X25 is hot round and shoots flat and stright. I was shooting mine Friday at 100 yards.

Because I reload and its much easier to find components for 9mm than 7.62 x25 : )

Check out their 7.62x25 polish ammo. 1 can, 1260 rounds for
90.09 2 cans, 83.16 each can, 3 cans, 80.01 each can.
Some of the necks are cracked on this ammo, they say it doesn't effect the ammo, I agree, I have shot hundreds through my cz's and never a problem.
OP, great looking gun, I want one.

Very nice. So many guns, only a limited amount of money. Have fun with it.

Are these Yugo M57s on the roster?

EDIT: Never mind, answered my own question. It appears C&R handguns are roster-exempt but you still can't get them shipped to your door. :(

Looks great! I would love to get one to compliment my YC Mauser. I have also always wanted to run something like this in a match just to see the look on the others faces. Though with the scarcity of mags for these, I don't see that happening in the near future. Again, nice pick up. -Ben
