hey guys My sks stock is pretty small. i have long monkey arms which drag on the ground. I was looking at one of those Dragunov style plastic stocks. Can I put that on my SKS. its a somewhat of a pistol grip design.I dont have a bayo on my sks. i dont plan on charging up a hill bayo attached or do any bayo by stabbings.
Thanx
Rob

Have you considered one of the thick rubber butt pads? I have one on mine and it makes a diff.

Yes you can put the dragunov stock on the sks, if you play the 922r game as well. I have the dragunov and it is definatly longer than the original stock. Too long for me and I will be modifying it. Be aware though that to take off the rear reciever cover you have to pop it out of the stock to clean it.

Also, bayonet lugs and the such mean nothing anymore, that all expired with the federal ban in 2004.

I have the dragunov stock on mine too- it is kind of long and bulky but looks cool.

I have a new black ATI monte carlo stock (has a small pistol grip and is longer) that is for sale. check my ad in the for sale section or pm me

Although the new tapco 6 pos tactical stock for the SKS is pretty cool I still think folding stocks on SKS rifles = maximum evil factor.

I was thinking of getting one of those and a 10 round detachable magazine and modifing it to be a permanent magazine. The remvoable magazines have that extra evil look to them (longer, maybe single stack?); and it would help take away 3 imported parts.
