You're a little ahead of yourself, Trader's hearing is not until May 25th, and this has been discussed in other threads.

Would they close? Or just lose their FFL?

They also sell other gun stuff, safes, ammo, sporting goods, etc.

They should take the time and beef up their customer service skills.

That would be more of a journey of discovery!

Really sad seeing what's happened to them over the past few years... everytime I visited, seemed like their inventory kept dwindling. Used to be such a bustling place, stacked 3 deep at the counters with TONS of weapons to fondle.

Agreed, customer service was never a stong point with them... but if you wanted choices, they were the shop to go to. I was recently in the market for a Kimber Tactical Ultra II for my wife, I peeked in about 2 months ago... only 2 Kimbers to be seen. Ended up doing an internet deal with a transfer through a FFL in Martinez.

I guess gone are the days of seeing a great selection, making a choice, then asking: "can i get a fresh one from the back?" :(
