ok i no this subject has been covered many times, but i just want to make sure i understand fully, if i put the 10? us made parts on my sks then i can use a pistol grip or a folding stock right? and if i do this can i also use 10rd detachable mags?? thanks for the advice

you have ZERO chances of making it a detachable mag rifle. A detachable mag SKS is listed as an AW.
If you put the 10+ parts you CAN have a different stock.

BUT all the PG stocks happen to suck IME. I like a PG as much as anybody, but on an SKS, they are as useless as tits on the hildebeast.

All the thumbhole / pistol grip stocks for the SKS suck.
Except for one.
Fajen made one for them way back when Fajen owned Fajen. It's not made anymore. If you ever find one for sale, get it. They are sweet. One of the guys who comes to the quarry has one and it is REALLY nice. Perfect length, perfect balance, beautiful to look at.
The last one I saw for sale went for over $300 - just for the stock!

hahah yeah i think ur right, and theres too much crap associated with a pistol grip stock anyway, so i think ill prolly stick with a monte carlo style stock, man all these freeking laws are confusing.:(

For $875 bucks for just the kit. You better be sure you want it....
Jeez, I think an SKS in it's original form is pretty nice looking.
