Hi all didn't see this question in the search so...sorry if it was already asked.
Where do you guys get your 10/30 pmags? Specifically ones you can return to 30 rd operation for out of state travel without having to remove a rivet and whatnot.
Thanks!
You shouldn't be able to undo the 10rd modification as the law says the magazine should be permanently modified. If you want to be able to use a 30rd PMAG while you're out of state, you should look into rebuild kits.

I got my 30rd pmags from sawtac (http://www.sawtac.com/index.php). Some I converted to 10/30 following this thread (http://www.calguns.net/calgunforum/showthread.php?t=120280); others are kept as rebuilt-kit, which will be used out-of-ca.

a 10/30 is a permanent modification, it isn't like a bullet button.

I think I am going to convert some 10/30's according to the thread & buy some of midwest's 10 rd stubbys for the range and transporting.
If pmag is coming out with 10/30s i will have to get some of those too..
can never have too many mags
:53:
Thanks for the great advice all!

I'm having a special right now for 10/30 pmags. They are only $15 and 3 day shipping is only $5. They also come with a 5 year no questions asked warranty.

when i was on R&R from iraq, i bought like 10 out of state and asked to have them shipped disassembled they agreed. i put a block and glued the hell out of them and put a screw in. cost me about 10 per mag shipped and the plastic, was just scrap stuff i had around.

Disassembled mag parts are legal regardless of who you get them from.
