i just put my lower on 10 day hold Thursday and made a commitment to build an AR, i'm one of those guys now and couldn't be happier :83:. The funny thing is i was getting done with my 10day on a P95 and my FFL ( safespaceshooting.com best FFL ever!) told me they had a few lowers in and the wife said just go ahead and get it now (best wife ever ). so now i'm on the hunt for a LPK and a full upper and will soon have a hammerhead grip, the good thing is i planned for this along long time ago and have had 5 30 round mags sitting for the past 11+ years waiting for me to get the cash to build an AR.

rock island arms lowers here i come!

NICE! BRD is dangerous!

I suggest BCM for your upper. I saw a cheap lpk in the for sale section today. any brand lpk will do.

i was doing some research today on a stock trigger vs a stage 2/3 trigger and man there are so many options out there this is going to suck the life out of my fun fund and fast.

i rock a stage two trigger by RRA.. no complaints. if you're looking to spend the $$, I'd go with a geissele trigger if i did it all over again.

You mean a 2 stage trigger? There are quite a few to choose from but its all about budget, from what I hear the RRA is good for the money.

Welcome to the addiction. Since we're talking about triggers, I have a timney 3lb trigger and I love it.

I'm not sure if the wife knows how much this will cost total so i'll do it part by part. i'll get the LPK next week then the Hammerhead the week after and as for the upper well haven't worked out how i'll sneak that one in yet.....

rock river arms makes a solid lpk, they are my preferred brand. but ive only used doublestar a few times, cmmg, and rock river. no play in the trigger, and breaks cleaner.

Don't use your 30 rds mags unless you're building a featureless !!! If you stick you 30's w/ a Bullet Button, a pistol grip, and other badboy stuff then you might be scr*wed !!!

EDIT: just read the Hammerhead ... be careful with flashhiders too.
