View Full Version : Linear Comp vs A2 Flash Hider

My AR still wears a standard A2 flash hider. I didn't want to spend extra cash without an appreciable gain and didn't feel like researching flash hiders and comps along with everything else I obsessed over while I was shopping. Now I've been looking at different muzzle devices and I was curious about the linear comps like the Troy Claymore. Dropping my A2 for the Claymore, what am I going to notice has changed? Does it reduce felt recoil, or just direct gases forward?

The best one on the market is the Titan comp. I have one and it realty reduces the recoil. It pisses off people next to me and it seems to be louder but it really works. Mclick comp it good too but I'm not a big fan. The 360' break are just a pain, they kick up so much dust, really don't reduce anything in my opinion and they blow my charts off the table. I would buy the titain again
