All it says in the OLL guide is the XM series, but from what I'm seeing alot BCW, PCW, and ACZ. I feel like I'm missing something here. Can anyone clue me in?

AFAIK, all the aluminum Bushmaster AR15s are marked XM15, which is on-list. the Carbon-15 plastic lowers are not marked XM15 and are legal.
I'm not sure what this BCW, PCW, ACZ stuff you are taliking about.
The catalog model number/name does not matter.
What matters is what's marked/engraved on the reciever.
If the reciever is marked/engraved (make) Bushmaster (model) XM15, then it is a make/model banned assault weapon and not legal in CA (unless registered as an assault weapon).
All of the metal Bushmaster AR lower receivers are marked/engraved (make) Bushmaster (model) XM15-E2S, this makes them illegal in CA as a named assault weapon.
The polymer Bushmaster AR lower receiver are marked/engraved (make) Bushmaster (model) Carbon-15, this makes them off-list and depending on how the firearm is configured can be CA legal.
