finally got to pickup the lower reciever from the gun shop last night, probably wouldnt be able to sleep if i hadnt assembled it together. watched a bunch of videos on how to assemble and printed out the lower parts kit diagram
And so we go:
1. Stuff I had last night... bought that upper complete already
blow dryer and crayons just for highlighting the lower reciever
and ofcousre coffee(it was like 10pm when I started this) on a coaster ofcourse to no mess up table finish

2. I was going to do a two tone highlight on the JD machine logo but it was too hard so I just did brown

3 And the completed lower(cellphone flash ruins pics)

Looks good man! I have JD lower also that I'm building up. Are you shooting at P2K Shooting Range?

That looks like American Shooting center. Unless their Equipment is the same.

How do you like that free float tube? It's an MI, isn't it?

Your two NOOB mistakes: the fakeog and you need a longer range!

Otherwise, very nice.

yeap MI SS, well cant say much about it compared to others since this is my first build, so far its good I guess. Yeah I got that fakeog on sale tho lol, from 179.99 marked down to 99.99, cant afford a real ACOG for now - maybe this Christmas:rolleyes:

I'm assembling parts for my first build. Looking forward to showing it off, maybe in time for T-day.
