View Full Version : Build-up between brake and barrel

As I was replacing a gas block, I removed my muzzle brake and noticed some pretty good build up on the tip of the barrel.

Anything to worry about. I doubt it, but just checking in case there was something I should know.

Nope, nothing to worry about, it will build up to a point then stop, and shouldn't have any negative impact on accuracy. Zack Smith (not positive on the last name) Did a write up on his website a few years ago about this, google demigod llc and you should find it around there.

Are you shooting an 8" barreled 5.56 or something?
