Has anybody heard of these?

I was wondering if they were good? It's hard to find information/reviews.

Good.

That's good to hear. I found a little info here on CG but I was wondering what uppers etc they are compatible with etc. They cost considerably less than anywhere else I can find.

They are DPMS style.

I bought 2 for the price of what I would have paid for 1 locally. I assembled my first 308 ar with one of them using a DPMS 24 inch bull barrel upper. Haven't had a chance to shoot it yet.
They were nice to work with and I would purchase from them again.

I have one of their Lowers, fast shipping and very reasonable on the cost. The rest of the parts I am using are DPMS, with a 22" stainless fluted barrel.

I have that configuration in mind also, I'm keeping my options open for now, I'm just in my research stage at the moment. Good to hear they're easy to deal with, that pretty much makes my mind up for the lower.
Any chance we could see some pictures?

Would it be possible to see pictures? How did you find the build? Easy enough? I've done a couple of AR15's and found was a lot easier than I expected.

I own www.Roguetactical.com, I can build out a Tactical Machining Lower with DPMS products for about $1300.00 without optics. My site is down for now until I make some changes. Only problem is getting the parts in DPMS is backed up and your looking at about a 3 month wait. I should have mine put together this week sometime. I also did not go with you standard pre-built upper. I pieced it together so it has a flat top quad rail and an old style A2 stock.

TM has their .308 Lowers in stock, you better get them before they are gone.

It was just a little bit harder than a regular ar in that there were 2 tiny extra screws.

TM lower $207 inc shipping ( did 2 of them so this is the price for each one)
ca dros $ 38 ( did 2 of them so this is the price for each one)
dpms lower parts kit $66
dpms 308 pardus stock kit $70
DPMS LR-308 Flattop Upper Assembly 308 Winchester 1 in 10" Twist 24" Bull Barrel Stainless Steel with Free Float Handguard $665 ( had a midway coupon)
cheap bipod $40
dpms magazine $29
ca bullet button $15

total thus far ( need optics still ) $1130

All in all it's about the same as buying the entire rifle from DPMS except as far as I know you can't as it is banned in Ca. I probalby saved about $110 in sales taxes though.

That's very cool indeed, looking forward to seeing the site!

Good to see the break down, it helps a lot. Looks like I'll be ordering a lower!
Obviously the standard BB worked fine? I was reading a previous thread where
some users had trouble with the standard BB, I think somebody said the Radlock was ok though...

A bit OT but I read somewhere a 16" 308 AR weighing only 7.5 lbs. Can anyone chime in on this? is it the barrel that made it this light? is there a pencil type barrel for 308s?

I have built two in .260 Remington. They are great, a couple of my best shooting rifles.
Here's the target version.

I got my DPMS uppers from midway for $100.00 less than DPMS sells them. And they were IN stock, shipped the same day I ordered them and I had them in less than a week.

RGUNS.com has DPMS uppers at pretty good prices. You can save money on mags by buying Pmags or Cproducts mags from 44.com or others instead of the DPMS brand mags.

ditto plus if you use a coupon it's even better.
