A Colt Diamondback .22lr in the description you describe is worth in excess of $1100 without box. With the box add a couple hundred more.

Sorry you have to sell a handgun that was left to you.

with the economy the way it is now you might get 2 cents on the dollar, and i just happen to have that 2 cents, or maybe that is nonsense

Will be posting pictures this weekend so to get a better idea of value. It is a beautifull gun. I have never fired it or the 6" nickel Python I got with it.

I saw an Anaconda in .22 not long ago. Pristine condition, at $800 IIRC. It lasted a matter of days.

I know where there are 2 6" Diamondbacks in 22LR(perfect condition)--no boxes for $1400
and they have sat for over a year. $1100 would be a good price but gun
prices are DOWN,no doubt about it. Pete

Correct grips and box count for a lot.

Wow, nice. Too bad the Python is not blue, it is highly prized because it is one of the most beautiful bluing's given a gun.

You can sell Colts in almost any market, good or bad. There are always serious collectors who will buy them, even if they have others of the same model. You just need to be patient.
