Is there an easier way to view threads that I have posted in other than doing an advanced search for my username?

thanks, that's found under my user info? I was hoping there was a magic button similar to the "new posts" link. You see, I'm lazy and don't like having to click 2 or three times to see where I've already been ;)

Yes, click on "Statistics" in your user profile.

You could bookmark the links Doheny provided. It would only require one click to access in the future.

You can also click "user CP" and it shows all posts that are active that you have posted in; whether you started the thread or not.

I'm sorry if I sound like a clueless oaf, but all I see under "user CP" is an area to view subscribed threads. I guess I'll just start subscribing to them.

When you start a thread or post in someone else's thread, you're automatically subscribe. If you find one of your threads in there or one that you have posted, read it, then log on and come back a few hours later and nothing is there, it means the thread had no activity since you last checked it.

Hmmm...I don't think it's working like that on my end. I subscribed to a thread to try it out and that comes up under control panel, but nothing else.

Most other forums I belong to have subscription defaults set to No Email Notification. This allows you to go to your User CP to find threads you've posted in. For whatever reason, Calguns does not. No worries.

Newbs guide to turning this feature on:

-User CP

-Edit Options

-Default Thread Subscription Mode

-Change the mode to No Email Notification.

After you've done that, from now on threads that you post in will be automatically subscribed to. Go into Ucer CP to find them.

Hope this helps.

How do you bookmark a thread you want to be able to find again?

There is also an easy way to see all your posts if you are on a thread you have posted on, go to your post, click on your name and a drop down menu will appear allowing you to see all your posts.

Wow, I just looked at the date of the original thread.

go in your user cp and under options select the type of notification you'd like. It's probably set to none.
