View Full Version : Telescopic ar stock on a cal reg AK legal?

I put an ar15 telescopic stock on my 1988 cal registered (in 92) assault weapon norinco semi AK....do I now have to do the parts count bullsh&t to keep it legal??.

The federal parts count thing, or 922(r), is for post-1989 imported guns. So you are OK with the new stock on your 1988 Norinco.

You can do whatever you want with your rifle, short of making the barrel length less than 16".

If you feel compelled to make your AK look all tactical go to www.tapco.com they've got pretty low prices on that kinda stuff. Personally I preffer the authentic look of wood and the classic slant muzzle break on AKs but to each his own.

HELL YES!!!:D . good news again. It is real nice to have your help and I thank you all. I went to tactical shack and ran with it!.
