He charges $60. Not average. Just $60. He's a cool guy and will hook you up.

Then tell us where. Atlantic is out of state right? $60 is the cheapest transfer I've seen. PPT in the state can be charged $25-$35, that may be what you're thinking of.

If you think $60 is steep, call Just Guns, and Rancho Cordova Gun's. Prepare to have a heart attack.

Golden State Tac is a very well run shop with great service. I would call them, or even better, meet Rob in person and see for yourself.

They are in Ione, but it doesn't get any better north of Taft.

They do, but they aren't as cheap as what's listed. I believe they're in the $100-$200 range

If Robert Snellings is still doing transfers, he's a good person to go to. $60 should cover everything. Bought a Saiga from DD's Ranch and it went smoothly. Can't remember his contact info, but if you search Calguns, you'll find the info.

Am I the only one who clicked on the link to read the description for this gun? ".... and should be legal in all states except California."

Looks like a thumbhole stock from where I'm standing.

Hmmmm. Wonder if this gun is legal in California?

Only cuz no BB. You'd have to got thru a middleman to have a BB installed, then shipped into KA (most likely without the pistol grip). Add another ~$50-60 for the middleman. Kinda adds up after a few hands...

BTW, +1 on either Snellings or Golden State.

Lincoln Gun Exchange, $30

Is that if you buy one of their stock weapons? Is their fee that low if you shop mail order and have it shipped to them?

Golden State Tactical. Robby is a really nice guy and knows his stuff.

Robby is a great guy to do business with. Do a gun deal anywhere else... then try Robby. Just the difference in how he treats his customers will make you willing to pay MORE just for the privilege of doing business with him... but you will end up out the door for LESS. I've dealt with him on two occasions and enjoyed - not just tolerated - both encounters. He knows the law, not a ton of FUD he mistakes for the law. Stark contrast to most gun shops I have been in. Unless you find someone who is agoraphobic, doesn't rely on gun-selling for their income and is desperate to have people come in to visit, you won't find anyone less expensive.

I think its only $30 for PTP w/both in store, its another $30 if you get something shipped. Best to call and ask them because my memory is not great
