All Caltrans is State, as for salaries. http://www.dot.ca.gov/hq/jobs/salaries.htm

Not me I'm retired as in "hire the handicapped were more fun to watch". :D

Be mindful i will say the pay if you plan on being a maitenence worker or mechanic will be 5% less that what is shown right now on salaries contributions to health insurance will be pretty high first couple of years of employment and a furlough day a month which means abt another 5% less. We have had a few guys quit. I work in the shop on equipment and we do work no shovels no sleeping on creepers with our hands tied up.

Right now im happy to just have a job and be grateful. Not trying to discourage anyone but if anyone has anyquestions pm me.
