Hi everyone, thank you for all the great advice so far.

I have bought a Savage 110 BA and a Bushness 6500 2.5-16 42mm Tactical Scope. My only question remaining is, what is the best way to mount the scope to the picatinny rail on my gun?

Looking for the optimal not necessarily the cheapest option.

Thanks.

Look into the TSR series of rings by TPS. Very high quality for a decent price. I'd rate them up there with Badger and Leupold in terms of craftsmanship and fit. Given the mounting surface of the BA, I'd think it would require high rings like an AR type rifle. The 42mm objective of the Bushnell is pretty slim though, so you may be able to get away with running medium rings.

For the price, I found the Burris Extreme Rings a great value. Not Badger Ord by any means but solid, well made product.

And lap the rings before mounting the scope.
