I'm about to purchase a gun on Budsgunshop and need a reliable FFL near the Corona/Riverside area to transfer it to. All the nearby shop's fees are horrendous. PM me with pricing and location. Thanks.

You should try Annie's Get Your Gun on Sixth street in Corona. Their number is (951) 737-0904. This shop used to be Dave's I think. Since the change of ownership it has really become a better place, the new owners are really nice and they do just about any kind of legal transfer. I give this place a 10 out of 10. I used them when I sold a handgun to a friend in the San Francisco area and he only charged me $40 for the shipping to the FFL up north. That is really cheap when you consider that Turner's was going to charge me $160!

Super friendly people, but unfortunately their prices are a bit steep. $95 for FFL transfer+DROS.

DROS is 30 w/o a profit, leaving $65 for their trouble and over head. May find a couple of bucks cheaper here and there, but may just piss off a couple of FFL's in the process.

Tim's Gun Shop in Rubidoux. Tim's a great guy to deal with but a little hard to catch. He's a in home FFL and charges $45 flat fee (even for out of state transfers). Give him a call at (909) 801-4875.

I heard from another Calgunner that Straighline Tactical in Anaheim chargers $50 flat fee. 714-998-8886. Give 'em a call it's worth a try.

Nobody does out-of-state transfers for $35. That's just the DROS fee.

Bright Spot Pawn is the cheapest I've found for out-state-transfers.

The DROS fees are $25, not $30. Anything above the $25 is a dealer fee.

The DROS fee is $25, not $35. Perhaps he meant that the dealer's transfer fee is $35 + the $25DROS fee, $60 total.

It is hard to compare apples to apples when everyone describes it differently. Some people quote the transfer fee separate from the DROS fee and others quote an out-the-door cost with the DROS and transfer fees combined.
