I read the title and imagined two masked gunmen robbing an elderly couple. Struggle ensues and the elderly man gets shot. Then the gunmen drive off in a government vehicle

Yeah, freaking ridiculous. It's sad that even the elderly are being targeted. Just recently a man was shot and killed over $17. :shrug:
