polish a stainless steel revolver

I have a stainless steel S&W revolver that I'd like to polish. Any suggestions on how to do it best?

Dremel, Polishing wheel, turtle wax.

Apply wax to area of pistol and let dry. Use the dremel with polishing wheel to buff to a shine. Don't go to fast. Its best to first try it on an area that is not seen like under the grips.
