My father-in-law recently passed away and he had several firearms (couple handguns and rifles) but he didn't mention anything about them in his will. My mother-in-law is wondering what to do with them since she doesn't want them. Technically, she's the main beneficiary so do they now belong to her? How do we go about reregistering them to someone else like another family member? Or if she wants to sell them, what needs to be done since they're not registered in her name?

Any info or links would be greatly appreciated...thanks

I went through something similar, my father passed away (I miss that guy so much) and I filled out an intrafamilial transfer form. Super easy and now I remember him every time I play with those pistols.
