thats a great idea until someone sees its there or its an even better idea if you have to put your gun away/grab your gun from under the car while being victimized

isn't the entire point of CCW to be carrying? I mean... it's Concealed Carry Weapon

how stupid would it be to have some **** go down and being being the dumb *** with a loaded gun taped to their spare tire... just looking out the window wishing it was in his back pocket.
hell a DE.50 shoved up your *** is more useful that that crap

Wow, what a stupid idea.

What are you going to do when you hit a pothole or a dip or a speed bump that causes the box to fall off?

And heaven forbid, what happens if you are actually being attacked? "Oh no mister attacker, hang on a minute while I get down on my hands and knees and fumble around underneath my car to find this box. Damn where'd it go, it must have slid all over from my driving around. Oh OK here it is, just gimme a minute to tug it off of the car... ok now let's unlatch it, okay now I have an unloaded pistol and a full magazine here per CA law. Hang on a sec, let me just stick this magazine in here.... okay, rack the slide... OK now I'm good to go -- GET ON THE GROUND!"

Seriously, people who have never been under any kind of stress have the STUPIDEST preconceived notions about firearms and firearms handling.

And they couldn't have found a better model? Yeeesh... :ack2:

I think the point is that you put your gun in there after you park your car so you don't have to take it in with you, not that you put it in there and drive around with it.

Seems like it'd be real difficult to hide what you're doing in a public parking lot when you squat down next to your car, unholster your pistol and stuff it up underneath the vehicle.

This is a much better idea: In-Car Gun Safe (http://www.center-of-mass.com/Store_InCarGunSafe.htm)

Stupid idea I can understand why some might need one. Unless they have cameras in the parking lot put it in the trunk.

At my job even if I had a CCW they are very anti-gun and if I were to carry with a permit it's against company policy, and is grounds for immediate termination.
