I came across my hunting license from 99-00 (yes its been that long). Can I get a current license by showing (Turners ) my old license?

Thx

Absolutely. This is what I did, no problem. I lost my original Hunter Safety Certificate from 30 years ago, and just showed a previous license to get a current one.

However, if you want to hunt out of state, you'll probably need a copy of your HSC. I took that course again just be able to hunt in Hawaii and other states...

Yes and even if you couldn't find your old one you can sign an affidavit stating you have previously held a license. Some states want to see a hunter safety certificate regardless.

If you go this route you will need an adult (18 or over!) to swear and sign that they knew you had a license!
