Is there a butcher or meat processor in the east bay? Somewhere around Walnut Creek, Oakland, Hayward area. There use to be a few in Hayward and Castro Valley, but they are gone. I know there are a few in the mountains where I hunt, but I don't want to drive back up there to pick up the meat. DO you know what they charge? Some charge a fee, and others take some of the meat.

Thanks.

Wayland's Meat Market in Oakland on 3421 Fruitvale Ave ave will do it for i think 65 cents a pound packaged any way you want. I took a boar to him, did a great job super nice. 510) 530-3344

Not hard to do your own, you should give it a try. Hell, even a city boy like can do it.

I have done it before when I lived in a house, but I live in an apartment now. I don't feel like doing it inside, and I can't do it outside.
