A friend is inviting to go fishing for tilapia there. Just wondering if anyone has a recent fishing report to share.

Thanks in advance.

It's hit and miss call down there before you go and sometimes when there is a fish die off it smells like hell! you will have better luck fishing the small Cannals and Irrigation ditches through out the region.

You don't even have to bring any gear. The fish just come to the shore and die for you.

it's been bad well beyond a decade now. I wouldn't even touch the water. The heat, toxic soup, smell and the FLYS! oh man the flys! There were so many in my car just from opening the door a couple of times, I found them for days (alive) and weeks after I found dead ones.

Good God. Stay away from that place. Toxic swamp. Go to the movies.
