a clothespin like you would use on a clothes line for drying clothes

They make hangers just for this. I tie a 3/8" rope between two of those green fence posts and stretch that puppy out 75 feet.

Any ideas for something made of metal that you can carry out to 100 yds. without a dolly? I am a "sharpshooter" (not) I accidentally tagged the frame of my buddy's target frame with my Moisin Nagant, goodbye target holder. I was sooo sorry.

llol...thats why i use old pallets for most of my construction. after a couple days in the desert it starts to become a challenge who can shot out the wood 1st.

very nicely done though looks good.

my stand is similar, need to figure out a backing to staple targets to. Ive been using cardboard boxes from when we moved but those will eventually run out.

check stores, they always have tons of cardboard being thrown away. best places to check are stores that have large appliances or furniture.

or if you don't want to scavenge for cardboard, you can use those corrugated plastic sheets. (plastic version of cardboard) those things will last hundreds if not thousands of shots and hold rigidity and is waterproof.
