This may have been discussed before but with new programs available, it is worth asking again.

Do you inventory your guns?

What Gun log software do you use?

I just created an Excel Spreadsheet and list all guns, with comments, purchase price, where bought and so on. Easy to up date. I also take photos of all my guns. I keep a copy of the spreadsheet and photos in the gun safe and at my son's house just in case.

Yeah, unless you have an enormous amount of firearms and a LOT of transactions, I don't think you need any special software. A simple spreadsheet program like Excel will work just fine and you can delimit and export all you want, and sort and search/replace. Heck - I use that to track my ammo as well.

I was looking to buy that app but chose MiGuns instead. For the home computer, I designed my own with InDesign. Just gotta get around to putting all the info in & add photos when time permits.

I've been using this, it's cheap and works for me.

I just use the C&R receipt and disposition form to log my firearms. Also, I keep a separate file with original receipts, manuals and pictures from purchases for each firearm. I just prefer paper versus digital.

Google Apps. I keep it all in an online spreadsheet so I can access it from multiple computers. It also lets me virtually ogle my goodies from work.

I bought an earlier version of this software that was specifically designed for guns but it ended up having too many features & was too complicated for my simple needs... so I just went back to Excel. Not perfect but it gets the job done.
