Last year at this time I owned one gun. My trusty Stevens pump shot gun either leaning in the corner or on the top shelf.. The self defense gun.. Last July I was invited out to shoot with my father and his two friends.. Basically my uncles as I have know both since the age old 5 and 7.. I was hooked again.. . Jumped back in both feet first..

I know many on here have collections that surpass mine.. Doesn't mean I can't be proud though .. right?

nice collection! funny thing about firearms is that they multiply when left alone in the dark...

That's a respectable increase in gun ownership for a year's time.

Nice you've been busy.
Is that Ruger 22 over scoped or under barreled?

Only one this year I can claim for show and tell :D

Let's look at the checklist for beginner collectors:

.22lr rifle...Check
.22lr pistol...Check
Defensive caliber pistol...Check
ar-15 or ak-47...Check
Pump shotgun...Check
C&R rifle...Check

Looks like you're set! I'm almost there, just missing an AR and something C&R :D

@RTE: how the heck is that stock supposed to fold out with that RIDICULOUS magazine in there?! Lol just jealous.

It's a scope with a .22 attached.:D

PS... You need an AK/Saiga or SKS.

It's a good start. :) Now you gotta catch up by getting more until your safe is stuffed with toys!

I just sold a .223 Saiga to finish the AR, plan on getting another in 7.62 and converting it.

The scope on the 10/22 is just a 3x9, the rubber eye piece makes it look a lot larger. My boys pooled their money together to get that at the last gun show we went to.. It was the only thing they could find for $4..lol

I'd say you only need a good bolt action Rem 700 or Savage bolt .308 to finish off your package here. Lookin good!

Yeap Bolt action, 38splc/357 revolver, 9mm semi and Saiga/AK kit are all on the list for the next year(s).. And any cool or screaming deals I may find on the way.

I've gotta say, good things for the Springfield XD Subcompact if you're looking for a great 9mm at a reasonable price and can double as a CCW. For a revolver, start big and grab a .44!

LOL! I thought that was a Draco, and the first thing that came to my mind was "Classy".

Edit: is that how your mosin came, or did you do the refinishing yourself? (To the OP) :)

I am wide open on a 9mm. Springfield is one I want to try out, Have shot a M&P in 45 and loved the way it felt, so I want to try one in 9mm. Had a Glock for a short time and liked that as well..
Revolvers I am going to stick with smaller caliber. Need something without huge recoil so I can let my boys shoot it.

That is how I got it.. Laminated stock Mosin from Classic Arms. Think they still have some the call excellent condition.
