fountain firearms has no honor.

I purchased a Ruger from fountain firearms in Houston Texas; at a price they set ($435), before the reserve was met on Gun Broker. Their internet sales rep, holly, sent me an email requesting a USPS money order and a copy of my FFLís info be sent, which I did certified mail the same day. I asked holly to close the auction, she said she would. I offered to pay a deposit with my credit card to hold the gun until my MO arrived and holly said it was not necessary.

The auction was not closed and went on for one more day without a bid. In the end the Ruger sold for $495. I called to talk to the supposed owner, an elderly women with absolutely no clue about customer service. She told me holly was a new employee that had not been trained on store policies. When I told this person it was not to late to do the right thing she hung up on me. I immediately called back and was told she was not in.

I find it unconscionable that a business would not stick to itís word for 60 bucks.

fountain firearms you should be ashamed.

Thanks for letting me rant.
