So... looks like I might actually be able to get a C&R, well, theoretically at least :)

Can someone please answer if:
All firearms older than 50 years automatically are C&R (no need to get on the list etc)?
You are allowed to buy C&R handguns on your 03, without going through a FFL, as long as the handgun is not shipped into the state?

To answer ?? 1, guns at least 50 years old are C&R by definition under Federal law. PRK law allows person-to-person transfer of guns that are at least 50 years old without using a regular ffl or a C&R license. Note that this means long guns; Dennis at Empire Arms has the answer for your pistol question. Get the license & spend some money;)
