I think you mean the P7, right? Is it the PSP or M8?

HK does not make a PM7 to the best of my knowledge
They did make a P7 in different variations that were designated P7PSP, P7K3, P7M8, P7M13, P7M7, & P7M10. There may be others that I am not aware of.

Yes I see that it is called a P7. I can not find out until Mon. what model
it is other than P7. It does have the mag release on the heel of the grip
frame.

The PSP is not on the roster

Only the P7M8 is on the roster, and only until 10 September, unless H&K extends it.

The P7M8 is a fine gun. It's the version with the magazine release near the trigger guard, in the more common place. The PSP variant with the heel magazine release is not on the list, as Z ME FLY points out.

A P7M8 somewhere between 90% and LNIB, with all accessories (cleaning stuff and two magazines), would probably run between $1,000 and $1,500. Magazines run around $60 to $70 a piece, and the magazines for the PSP variant won't work with the M8. The PSP variant usually goes for less, but, as mentioned, it's off list.

I wish the PSPs were on the roster...

I believe the police trade ins go for about $600 out of state.

Including the P7M7 on this list is valid, as it exists. But it should be noted that there were only six ever made, never went beyond prototype, and all are in possession of HK.

If I remember correctly, the roster basically restricts what non-LEO can buy from FFL. Non-LEO can buy through PPT, private party transfer, where the seller of the non-roster gun is a private party. The transaction still must be done at a FFL. If the non-rostered gun is on consignment at a FFL, only LEO or another FFL can purchase it.

Consignment firearms are basically considerred a "PPT" and can be purchased by normal Californians.

They did make a P7... Mine says P7 on the grip and has the thin euro mag release on the bottom. No heat shield and I don't believe a bulge where the fireing pin is on the back of the slide... have to pull it out to see again.

Yes the one I am Looking at is a private party transfer! In California from a California resident? If so, great. Go get yourself a P7.

If not, you're back to the roster.

As said above....$6-700ish. Extra mags are key.

Buy it. Everyone needs a squeezie.
