Long Post sorry
I do have manufacturers but I was looking for a little more. Iíve tried to look both on this site and others, but seemed to just get more confused, so if this is a boring post I apologize.

Are they common? Problem childs? Rare??Any information would be helpful

Unfortunately my Father passed away about 4 years ago and I finally got the desire to take a look at his things. He was a law enforcement captain (Agency left out). My Mom thought heís had these for at least 40 years if not longer, but wasnít 100%.

Savage 24 Series
20 Gauge and 22??
Serial # C######
Iíve never seen anything like this, but it might be common place. I'm assuming this shoots both 20 gauge and 22? Over and Under combination?

This thing was filthy dirty smelt like cigar smoke, which is strange because my dad didnít smoke. Probably left in one of his buddyís cabins somewhere.

Taures 38 Special

On the 38 specials what type of ammo? P+??? or just regular 38 special or does it matter???

Mod 60 stamped inside frame after opening the cylinder
Original case and manual
This was my dadís baby, carried it everywhere, off duty weapon. He loved this thing.

Nice items. Savage 24 combos were made forever but have lost out to newer trends. Is there no indication of 22 l.r. or 22 mag?
Perfect "just in case" gun. Just in case you are camping and come across rabbits. (where legal of course)

The model 60 and the 10mm are like gold anymore.

Oh wow. That is all I can say. Those revolvers look sweet! Sorry about your dad - he had a great collection there.

Thanks everyone I appreciate it. I'm taking the 38's and the combo up to lytle in the morning. As you probably know the 10mm ammo is impossible to come by, so that will have to wait. I'm going to try and find more out about the combo it is stamped 22 long rifle on the upper portion of the top barrel if that helps.

Thanks again
