Mike - thanks for the posting, is this a new offering from Swaro (had only seen the circle dot type reticle in the Z6 before)? Reticle looks very promising.

You noted the illuminated dot is very bright -- could you characterize how bright it is compared to the Meopta, which I'm familiar with? (I got it from you!)

Specs don't show the battery life, do you what it is?

No one has really seen it until now mater of fact Swarovski just did a press-release today. Here is a like to Swarovski website. http://www.swarovskioptik.us/en_us/press-releases/211

The illumination gets as bright if not brighter than the MeOpta K-Dot. The K-Dot is one of the best bang for the dolor 1-4x scope on the market. I do not know the battery like but I would expect it to be the same as the others, so I assume it will be about 300 to 500hrs depending on the intensity.

The AR is made by Franklin Armory there is no slop in the upper and lower.
