View Full Version : Turners Rancho Cucamonga Grand Opening July 23-25

07-22-2010, 10:12 AM
I was in the store on Tuesday and they said they will be having great deals on ammo and other inventory for these three days - They have a large selection of rifles already and many handguns and some ammo along with the other items you'd normally find. The deals they offer are usually better than any other current pricing so this may be a good time to save a few bucks and help a new location feel some love.

somebody please add this to the so cal section - thanks

The OP's ad is from last week. Here's the Rancho's store ammo sale that's only good for today (Friday).

Decent prices, but they put a limit on how many boxes you can buy.

My father in law bought one of the M1As this morning...I can't wait to shoot it!

07-23-2010, 12:55 PM
I came home with a trunk full of ammo and a pair of backpacks.

anyone check out the sig pro .357s?

07-23-2010, 2:32 PM
wow, that Colt 1911 sure looks nice and price is not bad at all I think.

07-23-2010, 2:41 PM
anyone check out the sig pro .357s?

i bought one of them, was 334 otd plus 30 for extra mag...everyone was snatching them up and there was a redeemer coupon you had to have to buy it before 2pm,everyone that got there early took all 33 of them.so walked away with them in their pockets which screwed the count up and delayed/denied purchase to others, lucky i inquired to the manager while i waited in the line outside, some one gave a redeemer back so i got it.at 1030 they had 10 left ,i suppose they were all gone by noon....

07-23-2010, 7:54 PM
sigpro was only thing I was semi interested in. I hate waiting in lines though and I don't like the cost on .357sig ammo and the last used sigpro I had (9 years ago) was a major piece of junk so I decided against going.

Someone I knew did, he got a free krispy kreme donut:rolleyes:

Why people are making a big deal about the ammo "sale", I don't know. The ammo craze is basically over and I see similar prices on ammo online, at gun shows and at Walmart.

I missed the Corona opener but went to the one in West Covina about 10 years ago. Even with inflation, that was a sale and much better.

$150 Mossberg 835's. $1 boxes of Wolf 7.62x39 but at the time it was around $2ish.

I may go tomorrow to amuse myself, I'll be in the area but most likely I won't. I'm not staning in line for a crappy free Chinese knife or for a donut! Plus I hate how people get antsy and animalistic and stab each other in the back at such events. A deal! Wow! Blood in the water!

I've always had good luck finding random ammo deals in my travels anyways. I recently got Norinco brass cased reloadable .223 at $5 a box otd in bulk and some Wolf 7.62x39 at $2.22 otd a box with some free stripper clips thrown in. Much better than the "deals' at Turners.

To bad I cannot afford a M1a right now.:(

went back tonight and there was like 6 people at the store at 515pm.

the still had alot of 7.62x39 and .223 left

07-24-2010, 7:58 AM
I'm going to swing by there later today and see if there's any ammo left..

07-24-2010, 8:05 AM
Got a couple cases of ammo + autographed book yesterday. Goods deals on ammo.

07-24-2010, 9:23 AM
I got there at 11am and there were still M1a's for sale!

I got the safe, woohoo! $799 with the electric lock and bigger than the other safe they usually have on sale. This one is like a fridge.

Also got a Springfield .40 Subcompact, looks sweet! Nicer that the compact. $60 off! Can't DROS it for a week though, grrrr.

Ammo prices were the best EVER. Tactical .223 for $5.48 for 20 rounds. Mosin Ammo was $13 for 20 rounds, and I stocked up on 40 and 45.

The staff was very courteous. For all the people there they still managed to help everyone quickly. The store was smaller than I thought but still very nice.

Are these and the Mosin's cash and carry, or do they DROS?

07-24-2010, 5:03 PM
Are these and the Mosin's cash and carry, or do they DROS?Turner's is a CA dealer, they basically have to DROS everything.

However, if you have a C&R+COE, you wouldn't have to wait 10-days after you DROSed the Mosin, since it is C&R (assuming that Turners will honor the 10-day wait exemption for those iwth C&R+COE)

The M1a is a modern firearm and there is no exemption to the 10-day wait for that. No cash-and-carry. Why do you think there would be?

+1 for me too.
