Cabelas has it on sale for $14.99/50 They are also running a $5 shipping discount if you spend $150.

The reviews are mixed on Cabelas site. I was wondering if any one here has any first hand experience with it?

here's a link to it: MFS 2000 Ammo (http://www.cabelas.com/cabelas/en/templates/links/link.jsp?id=0073215217158a&type=product&cmCat=SEARCHFEAT_all&returnPage=search-results1.jsp&Ntt=.45+ACP+ammo&Ntk=Products&N=0&Nty=1)

I ordered 500 rds of MFS 9mm when it was one sale, and at least 1 round in every magazine would FTF. Not sure if the primers were just hard, or if they were just not seated properly. I actually just used it as good training for tap, rack, bang practice. But some people would not be happy with that sort of thing.

Ammotogo has Speer Lawman at $18.95 ($359 a 1k) and that stuff is great ammo.

Haven't tried their handgun loads but I've had great luck with their 7.62x39.

The estimated shipping for 1k rounds is $44.13 though. :(

It's still a good price at ~$.40/round, but not nearly as awesome as it looks.

I went through 1000 rds of the mfs2000. No Problems whatsoever. It runs a little on the hot side, and I actually preferred it over WWB by far. I no longer have .45 though and .40 or 9mm are quite easy to come by at wally world, so no need to order online. It was also over $20 per box when I got it. It's well worth the $15 IMO.

Junk ammo, a lot of failure to fire. Its also very dirty. Made the mistake of ordering them without doing any research, I have bought them in 9mm and 45 caliber.

Thanks for the info all. I'll try a box first instead of buying in bulk. It really seems hit or miss with this stuff. I've seen the .45 at ammotogo but last time I bought from them the shipping was crazy (it was almost $50 for a case of .22's) . Does anyone else know a good deal on some decent bulk .45?
