Doesn't really make any sense having some firepower but not having a rig or vest to carry spare mags and other goodies just in case.

Wonder why he has a 74 stock on a 7.62 rifle? Lame.

there's a "class" of airsoft players that go into the extreme ridiculous with equipment. Often enough, with excessive amounts of counterfeit or knock-off gear. While there are many airsofters of this type, it does not represent the whole.

It is like how liberals paint gun owners as uneducated racist white people and only uneducated racist white people.

I'm not on the up n' up on da AK, but aren't presschecks to ensure you have a round in your chamber, instead of racking it fully ejecting your round for a new one from the magazine?

Haha ya I was just gunna mention that. Same goes for all guns when you do a press check, You just pull the charging handle/Slide back just a tad to see in the chamber if there is a round.

Not fully rack the gun like the airsofter kid did. If his gun was real and he had a round chambered, he woulda ejected it torwards his face.

Truth be told, he gets down with the get down better than 99.9% of CG'ers.

There clearly is no shortage of people who think that youtube is a great place to give/receive advice about guns and gun safety....:shuriken:

I have one in Ranger Green and I like very much. It was designed by an Army Special Operations soldier for short missions/minor engagements. It'll hold 4 rifle magazines with no retention straps but are very secure. Behind it is a map/document holder with velcro closure. In front are 4 pistol mag pouches with flaps. You can use them for pistol mags, folding knives, multi-tools or flashlights.

Keep in mind the pistol mag pouches were probably designed for single stack 1911 mags and 9mm/.40 cal sized mags. Glock .45 or similarly thick magazines will be an extremely tight fit.

On each side there is a pouch with a velcro tab closure that can hold either an MBITR radio, a smoke grenade, 2 additional rifle magazines each or a pistol. You can also get a thumb break attachment for when you want to carry a pistol but it's not necessary. There's also 2 rows of PALs webbing on each side for additional pouches, fixed blades or to hang stuff from. 2 rows is not much but I'm sure there are some pouches out there that will fit.

For the price it's a good value. I was able to pick it up for a smoking deal when they had a moving sale at SKD a while back.

After watching that video I can say that it definitely is a real rifle and not an airsoft. Those are actual techniques used by Russian Spetznaz troops.

To the video maker: When clearing a malfunction roll the gun ejection port down not up.

What he is doing is similar to what we do when clearing malfunctions on a M-4 rifle.
It's called S.P.O.R.T.S.

Slap up on the magazine (to ensure its seated properly)

Pull the charging handle back

Observe the chamber (to ensure the round has been ejected)

Release the charging handle

Tap the forward assist

Squeeze the trigger

He is Observing to make sure the malfunction is clear.

that hurts, I play airsoft... it has its uses. What is bad is when people actually think it directly translates to combat techniques...

I've seen a few videos on there that weren't bad actually.
When I got back into handgun shooting - it was nice to see some examples of 'proper' grip, and different stances.
I've seen a few ones that had some good tricks on how to use different slings to support your rifle shooting as well.

In terms of proper AK-47 handling techniques - I can't say it really does any good just to see a guy waving a gun around and dropping mags on the floor. That looks more like laying it on the table to show everybody how big you think it is, rather than demonstrating something useful.

Original SOE Gear makes some of the best AK rigs I've ever seen.
I also recommend High Speed Gear Inc. Taco mag pouches for AK use. They're multi purpose.

That dude's stuff is real. He had a video in which he was shooting with the same rifle as well.
