If one day a fairy came and asked "What handgun would you like to be approved for California, which ONE would it be and why?"

I'd rather they just allow NORMAL capacity mags for us to freely use. Aside from that.. there really isn't much that I'd ask for except maybe P226 Elites or E2s

I think this is a fine thread, but it pops up with nearly identical wording every few weeks.....

Yes it does.

Nonetheless, it would be the XDM.

F the list!
Seriously they should ALL be legal, CA shouldn't be able to tell us we can only have guns that meet thier testing specs it just= infringing on the 2A.
I wanted to get this (Sig P220 Super Match)

Half the price of a P7M8, even though the P7M8 has only a few dollars worth of improvements.

Glock 18 sure would be a blast though.

The Glock 18 is a post-'86 MG, not a handgun.
It can only be owned by a Gov/Mil/LE agency or a FFL/SOT dealer.

Kel-tec PF-9 or 11. I dont know why kel-tec arms are illegal in CA?

Kel-Tec handguns are not illegal in CA. They are not on the approved list.
When the approved list came about, Kel-Tec boycotted CA by getting out of the CA handgun market. They said they'll come back, once the approved list goes away.

I was told by FN that they have already submitted the FNX series and should be approved in 6-9 months. They didn't mention the FNP-45 which is what I would add to the list.

Magnum Research .45-70gov 5 shot wheel gun. I think its a hoot to shoot big guns. The gun that makes everybody jump on the firing line when it goes BOOM!:43:its a single-action revolver that meets the dimensional requirements to be roster-exempt. It doesn't need to be on the roster.

Since the question was posed, it is now my fantasy, technicalities be darned! I'd give up my entire collection, and possibly one of my "doo-dads," to have a G-18 (or an AA-12 for that matter, but that's a different forum) for myself!

Too bad this isn't just roster-restricted here in CA. I want one too.

I've recently found the 1 gun I want to roster up, just so I can buy one. A Mateba unica 6 .454casull.
