A local fellow has one of these Redfield Regal IV Black Rubbe Aromred Coated Spotting Scopes for sale.

Redfield was bought out by Leupold but not the spotting scopes so they offer no support information or anything about them.

I did find a company that will offer support for this scope if it was one of the ones made in Denver, Colorado. This scope was in fact made in Denver and it's at least 10 years old.

The specs are 20 x40 zoom with 60mm objective lens.

Has anyone every heard of this scope and know anything about it's quality? The guy is asking $175 which sound high to me but I really have no frame of reference.

I have an old 18x36x50 Bushnell Sentry which I don't think is that great of a scope, so I'm looking to upgrade.
