Yea, there would be a headspace check. I guess I would have to change the question to would there be a interest in a barrel and pin removal and reinstall service.

The guys that are contemplating this figure $20 to $25 to remove and reinstall. They figure that considering all they would be doing is pressing the barrel out and pressing it into the trunion with a headspace check that is all anyone would want to spend. Much less than what a mechanic charges for a hours labor :D

Most common jobs here:
1. Remove barell
2. Install barell
3. Remove and install barell in one package.
I have kit with barell removed already. I would be happy to pay $20-$25
for installing. I hope my gas cost less to drive to yor palce.

These guys live in the inland empire, so if your in O.C. it wouldn't be to big of a trip for ya.They figure no one wants to spend $180 for a 20 ton press and $100 for the barrel removal jig. And I guess thats if you can find one. I think they may have a winner if they get up and advertise. I shoot with them every now and then and last week when we went shooting this was a topic of discussion.
