that just about made me sick.

no animal should be treated like that. he even put his rifle next to it to get the trophy photograph.. while it's still moving around!

that just about made me sick.

i'm not a fan of coyotes, but no animal should be treated like that.

Thanks for the warning. I didn't watch it, I don't like any animals being abused.

^ yeah, it's pretty bad. the yote is obviously suffering quite a bit. *******.

That's bad. Clean kills only man, .22 reduces the chance of that too much. And don't videotape that! And don't post it on freaking youtube!

I'm not too sure I see anything wrong with that video. Coyotes go down with a 22 just fine. Ever use a 60grn 22? They will drop in their tracks.
He must have hit wrong first then he finished it off.
Has no one here injured an animal with their first shot and had to put it down with a couple more? I know I have, even with t-shot or #4 buck.
Maybe he shouldn't have put it on youtube but anything we do makes hunters look bad.
Looked to me he did the best he could. Get over it.

Definately a bad choice to put it on u tube. If he was out rabbit hunting and had a target of oportunity then I don't think any one of us would have passed that up, It was a small yote and is dead now.

It sucks that he posted it like we was proud of it. A clean kill is one thing. A dirty shot on an animal just sucks for all involved. Finish it right or don't start it in the first place.

I say sicko all around

IMO he wanted to walk up to it as to have more film time and better close up affect for the blood scene.

Hope he finds the help he needs

FTR I'm a hunter and not an anti.

It was self defense guys read before you comment. He was hunting jackrabbits he didn't intend to hunt coyote... but yea he should of at least killed it completely.

self defense? yotes? No! Sorry, been there, done that....they ran like hell from me the same way for 25 years. He wanted to kill something on film and have a very nice closing sceen with the gun and the done deed. If you have any class when hunting you don't shoot anything that happens to come along......and whats with the film crew?

No, I'll stick with he's a sicko

What do you expect do you think an animal dying is pleasant. They don't always die right away. I shot one coyote with a 22lr and it did the same thing. I was shooting squirrels and I had the shot .Sometimes you just gotta use what you have.

I agree it's not enough gun most of the time. A 223 22-50 243 is better
