Are there any "California only" hunting and fishing forums, (besides this one)?

Ocean or freshwater?

Try Bloodydecks.com or SenorTuna.com

This one, a bunch of good people there. I havent been banned from the "other" site but when I try to log on from any computer I use "his" site freezes on me and "Jesse" or whoever his name is refuses to answer any of my emails.

Another vote for "The Outdoors Forum", and "California Predator Club". The majority of hunters on both are California hunters.

We are located in North Western California in Mendocino County, which consists of nearly 4,000 square miles of excellent Columbian Blacktail Deer habitat. With a population of only 85,000 there is still lot's of prime Blacktail hunting country available in the area.
...The Boone and Crockett (B&C) record book has proven that Northern California and Southern Oregon are the places to go for big Columbian Blacktails. I have been hunting Blacktails for close to 30 years and have taken some nice bucks, but it wasn't until I moved to Mendocino county twelve years ago that I found out just how big pure Columbian Blacktails can really get.
...I grew up a hundred and fifty miles South of here, hunting in the hills of San Joaquin and Alameda counties. Where rarely did we encounter truly big Blacktails. We considered a 16-inch wide, 3-point a real trophy and it is, in San Joaquin County. But here in Mendocino County it would only be considered a little better than average. There were most certainly bigger bucks in the area but they were few and far between.
...In Mendocino County a 16-inch buck is still a nice trophy, but not all that uncommon. We spend a lot of time every year filming and hunting Blacktails on our ranch... click link for more http://www.blacktailcountry.com/html/aboutus.htm

I don't frequent any hunting forums, I don't hunt.

Not against hunting, just not for me.

Regarding www.blacktailcountry.com Northern California, I do know the site owner... Dan Gibson is a very good friend. Dan moderates that site very well.

The site gets mega hits and has many members. They certainly don't need hyperbole to promote their passion for the sport.

If you are looking for a good Hunting Forum in Northern California... this here is the one.

That isn't my impression. In fact I am impressed by the experience many of their members have, particularly the big game and waterfowl guys. I know one or two guys that post there. I hunt with them and I am picky.

All these forums have different personalities. Just check them out and see if any of them appeal to you.
