So the stereo on my car does not play mp3 formats and I want to burn an audio book that is in mp3 onto a CD so that it will play. Is there any free software that can do this?

Sure, iTunes will do it. There's probably a dozen others that will also. I'm sure Google would be of some utility here.

I'm addicted to audio books myself. Just be aware that you could be burning 6-24 CDs depending on the size of the book. What I use is a Sandisk Sansa MP3 player and plug portable speaker in for car use. The Sansa lets you start right where you left off. Just a thought.

I would do this except my car with a plug for a mp3 player gets 15mpg and I am going to listen to audio books on long road trips (sac to LA), so I drive the Corolla, which does not have a auxillary jack.

Thanks everyone, I have found a solution to burn my cd.
