I was given a Marlin 336 by my Uncle recently. It has less than 50 rounds through it. I did notice that the trigger wiggles a little bit. The trigger will fire, and does not go off when the safety is on but, the wiggle bothers me. Any ideas? Thanks.

No more trigger wiggle , and the pull/smoothness improved greatly...best money you can spend on one of the Marlin lever guns. They make a silver version as well. Fairly simple installation , if you are not comfotable doing it yourself it wouldnt ( Shouldnt ) cost much to have a gunsmith install it for you. No actual gunsmithing needed , just a part swap.

Marlin's are known to have the "trigger flop". It does not affect function, just tends to annoy people.

Ahh I see. Thanks for the info guys. I may have to pick up one of those trigger kits because I'm sure that I'll eventually get annoyed by the wiggle. I just wanted to make sure there wasn't an internal problem.
